Limping Hello guys. Well on Saturday morning I let my doggies go pee in the back yard like usual. When my 1.5 year old male came inside house he was limping. I checked to see what was wrong and didn't see anything with it. He wasn't crying or show any pain, but he has been keeping his weight off it. Not completely he still walks with it and runs but here and there limps and keeps his weight off right back leg. What do you think it can be? |
I forgot this started Saturday morning and it's now Monday morning. I called his vet but I'm sure they are closed this week for the holidays |
If he is still limping and emergency vet may be in order. More conservatively, keep him on crate and or lap rest. |
Limping is showing pain. Dogs are very good a thudding there pain. You need to have him checked out by a vet because it could be LP, a sprain, a brake or really just anything. |
My dog is 1 year old and he started do that. He has a hip dysplasia and needs surgery. My Squirt shows no sign of pain unless you touch his leg. Good luck and please let me know. My vet gave me medication to help him until the surgeon calls me. It may be something different. I am only telling you because I had no idea it was his hip. I was giving him Glucosomine thinking it was his knee. |
Wanted to do an update. I took My lil guy to the vet yesterday and it turns out that he is gonna have surgery. He is going to have two procedures done ACL and MPL. I'm so sad that he is gonna have surgery. I know it's for the best. Is anyone familiar with this or has had this done to any of ur doggies? |
