| LuvTaycieGirl | 08-25-2013 11:00 AM | Taycie's Recheck at the Opthalmologist Taycie went in on Friday for her 4 week recheck of her eyes. 4 weeks ago her eyes were a nasty itchy mess. Her eyelids were swollen and irradiated. She was diagnosed with Mineralized Kertophathy which is calcium deposits on her cornea along with Blepharitis.
Good News! They look really good! We get to discontinue the BNP-H Ointment!
The swelling and redness from the Blepharitis has completely subsided. They look so good now! She also said the Tacrolimus Solution that was prescribed for the Mineralized Kertophathy has helped the calicium deposits as well! She said she looks really really good! If all stays the same we go back in 6 months for a recheck. Obviously if the redness comes back we will go back ASAP. She will remain on the Tacrolimus and she also prescribed Artificial tears for the next 6 months.
So glad we went to the Ophthalmologist:) |
