Bella may be injured
 
She jumped off the couch last night and yelped. She limped for a bit , then seemed fine. This morning she sometimes limps and sometimes seems ok.

I'm sorry Bella doesn't feel well. I would keep her crate rested but if the limp continues she probably should be seen by the vet.

It's probably best to get her checked out, just to be on the safe side. You sort of have to use your own judgement on that since you can see how she is acting. I hope Bella is ok!

Since it is sporadic, I would just keep an eye on her and if it does not improve, take her to the vet.

One of mine has a little bit of LP but has never given us a problem. The vet told me once if she ever started limping to just watch her & wait a few days. The only solution would be surgery, which isn't needed in minor cases, so no reason to go in immediately. Your situation may be different, of course, but it did make me feel good knowing I won't have to treat limping as an emergency.

She seems to be doing better. Just an occasional limp. She doesn't seem to have any pain. I'm keeping a close eye on her. Thanks, everyone.

A limp in my opinion means pain otherwise they wouldn't do it.

When they aggravate their knees the vets usually put them on anti inflammatories and watch for improvement. Even with the meds, they often limp for a few days anyway.
I have had pups limp for one day and by the next they are fine....usually they are the ones who immediately start trying to use it like your Bella. Now...if she continues to limp tomorrow, honestly, I would call the vet. It is Friday and better to see the regular vet than to put it off and then wish she had something over the weekend .. the only way you could get it then would be at the EC.

Happy to hear that all is well now! :) Might be a good idea to get either stairs or a ramp for her to any furniture she likes to be on.

Glad to say Bella is fine! I did take her to the vet, just to make sure. No injury at all. She said Bella may have just landed wrong. There will be NO more jumping from furniture for this baby. I felt terrible that she could have had a preventable injury.
