pinch nerve My Bella 7yrs old female Yorkie, has a pinch nerve which radiates to her right leg . X ray was done and negative of any broken bones. She is on steroids, but when we try to decrease her dose to slowly stopping it. She return to acting like she is in pain and walking slow. any advise please. |
Oh so sorry to here Bella is having this problem. I don't have any canine expertise in this area but wondered if she is being evaluated by a specialist vet such as neurology or ortho board certified? Hope you can get this worked out. Sorry i cant be of more help other than prayers and support. Others here may have had experience with this. |
Thank you/:) |
Pinched Nerve She acts like she is in pain because SHE IS in pain. I sympathize with the poor thing. Have had this happen in my lower back and well as cervical discs in my neck. I hope the steroids work. Have you been able to keep her inactive? That helps a lot but I know with a dog it is probably difficult. Heat helps too. Good Luck BELLA!! Julia |
