Thank you. I knew I could come here and feel comfort. |
Oh Max, I love you buddy... you need to be all fine and clear for your mommy's sake. :) I'll be thinking of you all, please update us asap. Good vibes coming your way from Jackson and I. |
Greetings from south Georgia! One of my yorkies had a histiocytoma on his eye last spring. It was located on the inner canthus (the corner of his eye closest to his nose). Because of its location it was uncomfortable for him. It grew very quickly. We had it surgically removed and were so relieved when the biopsy revealed it was benign. The lesion was identical to the one in your photo. We will pray for you and your yorkie. I have enjoyed following the amazing variety of informative posts on Yorkie Talk for several months now. This is my first post. I thought maybe it was about time I joined in and offered a little reassurance... I have learned a great deal from you all. Thanks for allowing me to share. |

Oh, Karen, I am so sorry. It is so scary to have these unknown things with our babies. Hopefully, it is a nothing thing. I will keep Max and you in my thoughts and prayers. |
I don't know how we will know if it's nothing. I guess if freezing it doesn't help then we have to take the next step. The doctor said it could take up to 6 months to see effect. My fear is that if it is indeed cancer then I would have waited too long! I have to follow his advice. |
Ohhhhh I did not catch that. He cannot do anything else? Cannot remove it or biopsy it? It does not look that small. No needle biopsy can be done? |

Karen, I am praying that Max is ok. He is so adorable! I know how scared you must be. It is encouraging that the vet doesn't think it's cancer. I pray that the procedure will take care of it. Hugs...Jean and Daisy and Teddy Bear |
Aw Karen I'm sorry you guys are going through this. Peanut and I will be sending good vibes for a perfect surgery and prayers for a speedy recovery. We will be sending prayers for you too, you can get through this and everything will work out for the best.. It has to!! (((( HUGS to you, Max and Cooper)) |
Thanks again everyone. I'm a total wreck but am doing the best I can. I always think the worst. Max is not having general anesthesia. He's going to have dexdomitor/torb injection (copied from my paperwork). The doctor called it twilight anesthesia and believes Max will do fine. He says its less invasive. I feels so badly for him. Max hates the car because he fears we are going to the vet (even though we always go to the dog park too). He walks in with his tail between his legs, rolls over in submission and pees:( Everyone always says how sweet and docile is. He\'s such a good boy. I hope this ends quickly and painlessly for him. Poor dog has been through enough testing in his life. |
Prayers for sweet little Max. I will be with you in spirit on Friday. Big hugs for you as you wait for results. |
Aw, I wish I could give Max a big hug. Poor baby. Teddy Bear is scared of the vet too. Daisy and Teddy Bear send Max kisses. I know it\'s hard not knowing for sure. You and Max will be in my thoughts and prayers. |
