It gets interesting: Emergency Pet Hospital Of Orlando - Orlando Notice in the link above that there are many negative reviews, along with a big group of glowing reviews. All of the "glowing" ones where written closely together, every few days. Most vets don't have that many reviews. The "glowing" ones are obviously fake, put there to bolster up his ratings and push down and drown out the bad ones. This is a fun read (don't know how else to describe it, I never really thought about THAT as a way to pay for vet care!): Ripoff Report | Dr. Mark Hassan Complaint Review Orlando, Florida: 1016005 |
Just found this and it says that she was fired after the story was released. It is only a year to late if you ask me.... shameful that she was not fired on the spot after this first happened and that she was allowed to perform her duties as if nothing had happened. As if this does not qualify as ANIMAL ABUSE at its worse, by someone who people trusted to be the kindest, understanding of and most qualified to care for their beloved family members. Vet Worker Accused of Animal Cruelty Still Not Charged | STOP ANIMAL ABUSE |
That is awful and disgusting! |
This is horrible! And I hate how the vet says "this happens everywhere all the time" like that makes it ok. I worked in the vet field for over 5 years doing internships at many different hospitals and I never saw any one have to throw a small dog against a wall like that. You could have wrapped it in a big blanket and poked it with some sedatives if it was really that uncontrollable. Yes some things vet techs do look violent and harsh but are not, some dogs are hard to handle especially if they are aggressive or large but as a healer you are first supposed to 'DO NO HARM'. Was whatever they were doing really that necessary? Maybe they could have put the dog away and let it calm down a while. If I were the owner of that dog I would sue them into oblivion. |
"This happens everywhere all the time"??? A vet said that about slamming a dog into a wall? Oh, my, enough said. He should be drummed out of practice. He's no professional and certainly doesn't love dogs if he's sanctioning abuse. |
Oh that makes me so sick and angry that scum of a vet even states that the walls are SOFT not concrete so it would break a dogs back #%¥€£ He should be shut down that is heartbreaking. The dog was on A leash they could have pulled it into a cage if it was biting. Evil place. |
The clinic just posted on their face book page and apiology a bunch of stuff about how the dr. loves animals and so on so on. A lot of "great" reviews defending them. HMMMM????? I just wonder.. I think the dog abuse defender is the True Doc. What do you think? |
He seems to have quite the business presence in Orlando. Ripoff Report | Dr. Mark Hassan Complaint Review Orlando, Florida: 1016005 Ripoff Report | Dr. Mohammad Hasson Complaint Review Orlando, Florida: 1062274 Ripoff Report | Emergency Pet Hospital Complaint Review Orlando, Florida: 1040586 |
I wrote to the clinic/Vet and this was his reply I completely agree with you. This is over 2 years old video and was altered but an former worker. The person in the video is no longer working here. Proper legal action is being taken to investigate what happened. The action of this person by no means reflect what we do at this hospital. If its only up to me I would slammed her head in the wall. But she has a lawyer who defends her and she has 2 witnesses in her side who were there. I can not even testify because I as not there and all what I saw was only on YouTube. Thanks a lot for your email and feed back. Dr. Mohammad Hassan, D.V.M First the video shows her slamming the dog against the wall that is all that matters so what if it was edited that scene was intact it still shows cruelty it does not matter what led up to this abuse. Second his response is to slam the woman's head up against the wall two wrongs don't make a right. |
"The person in the video is no longer working here. Proper legal action is being taken to investigate what happened." If she was fired, just what kind of "investigation" is needed? The video is all that is needed, it doesn't matter if it was edited, what she did is not a proper response no matter what the little dog did. "If its only up to me I would slammed her head in the wall." Really???? You are no better than she is, but we already knew that. Enough said. "But she has a lawyer who defends her and she has 2 witnesses in her side who were there. I can not even testify because I as not there and all what I saw was only on YouTube. " Translation: The "investigation" referenced above is not just about this documented incident, it's also about me and my vet practice. I've lawyered up and I've been told not to say anything further. I'm scrambling and making excuses to try and hold things together so that I don't lose my license. |
