okay she hasn't had any of those symptoms but i'm still going to take her to the vet for a stool sample. I was told to bring in stool? I think thats absolutely crazy if there are vets that can just get it manually! You can also get it from dirty water like drinking from puddles or a stream. Also humans can get it and they can also get it from their dog. Im always worried about mine getting it because i have a stream in my backyard

Hello! She doesn't seem to be sick at all. I am dropping off a stool sample to her vet today though just to be on the safe side but I honestly don't think she has it. I believe that her brothers might have gotten it from the other 3 dogs they now live with but I could be wrong. That's just my hypothesis :rolleyes:

We got all the way to the vet (30 minutes away) and they were CLOSED! I'm just going to wait until Thursday when she is 16 weeks since she has to get her shots. Plus it saves me $50. She's having no symptoms and I know it's possible to have no symptoms but I wouldn't be able to get there until Wednesday due to work so what's one more day.

I hope it's nothing serious! I know in my case, I had a UTI and I felt fairly normal (apart from the painful urination -- I know -- TMI!) until I started taking antibiotics, and they wiped me out! I'm usually a night owl, but I would take a pill around 10 p.m. or so and be grumpy tired (the ultimate tired) within no time at all. Maybe (and hopefully) that's all that it is ... It's good to make sure by consulting your veterinarian though. ^^

oh yeah I too know how painful they can be! She hasn't displayed any pain though. Probably because it was "very mild"
