my yorkie may have a broken, dislocated, or sprained foot or toe. I really need help! My Maddy has a broken sprained or dislocated foot or toe I really need some helpful advice as this did come unexpectedly, I'm in the middle of medical bills myself for I am pregnant but this is little girl is still my baby I'm really worried about her. She is limping on it and wont put any weight on it. There's no blood and this happened about three days ago. Im going to post pictures of her foot on my profile |

I would take her vet asap |
I would also say get her to the Vet ASSP. Did you check her paw pads? Just a thought...Sometimes things get stuck in between the hair and the pads. My Sheltie limped for 1 day I thought she jumped and landed the wrong way I called the emergency Vet and they also told me to check the paw pads then had me bring her right in. Come to find out she had lyme disease. I would have never thought that from limping. I know Vet prices can be high but I really think she should be seen. You can apply for CareCredit. I have it and I know alot of other people have it. They spread the payments out interest free for many months. You can even use carecrdit for yourself at the doctors and dentist. I hope she feels better. |
This baby needs to be seen by a vet....we can not do that baby any good by looking at a picture....you really need to take her to the vet and have it examined, possibly/probably xrayed. She may need surgery to set the foot so she is not lamne the rest of her life. Good luck with this, sending prayers for her quick healing and some relief from the pain she is in. |
I have to agree with the other posters here...your baby needs to see a vet, I truly hope she will be ok. Sending prayers for you little one, and ((HUGGZZ)) for you. |
You need to get to a vet if it is broken and you let it go it can get so bad that it would need amputated so broken bones are nothing to fool with |
I am so sorry this happened to your baby. These things always happen at the worst time, huh? I know it's a struggle, but please take her into the vet. Maybe you can look into Care Credit if the finances are strained right now. Praying for you both. Please please check back in and let us know how she is ok? |
Sorry to hear that but she really needs to go to the vet. Either try to talk to the vet about a payment plan or check out Care Credit. Good thoughts go out to Maddy. Please let us know what the vet says |
I'm so sorry this happened to your baby. Draco is recovering from a boroken paw(wrist?) and his toes. Do you know how she did it, is did you find where there is pain? A broken paw can be very expensive. Will she let you touch it? Maybe examine it following this: CLICK When Draco broke his paw, he act very much the same with the same energy but just refused to put the paw down by the night and ended up taking him the next morning. The vet said I was lucky it was a clean break and he was a puppy so it'd heal fast. Told how there were possibilities of surgery, when dogs break their paws. And good that I brought him in fast, because if it strats to heal wrongly, then he'd definitely need surgery and maybe rebreak it. I agree with MandiesMom and check out Care Credit or at least check the vets near you in case you need it as an option. Or check vets in your area with their own payment plans. |

That does not look normal. I would hope that if your child broke a toe that you woulnd't make them suffer for three days or more before getting medical attention. Dogs have an extremely high tolerance for pain. The fact that she won't use her foot normally should tell you something is majorly wrong. If it is indeed broken, and it's not set properly, the body will try to incorrectly heal it, and could cause something even worse, like infection and lameness. This baby needs to be seen by a vet. There's nothing we can do for you over the internet. |
