Praying hard for Cookie to get thru this and handle being kept still and crated. I know you said it will be hard on her so prayers that God will keep her spirit calm so she can heal.

One or both of us will need drugs to get through this. She was outside earlier running around wildly and barking as if nothing was wrong with her. Crazy I tell you. Of course, when it was over, she was not using that leg....but while she was running, it was on the ground. :( This initially began Friday night, so I am guessing the initial inflammation is down a bit and that is why she is acting like a nut.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I will be worried tomorrow...she is my baby and I hate that she just had anesthesia for her dental recently. I know it is safe .. it is just that I worry because of the lymphangectasia. Probably not really a risk factor, but it just bothers me.

Totally understandable Linda. It\'s called being a good momma. Will be praying for both of you. Please update us as son as you can.

Oh no, Linda, I am SO sorry. I am just now reading this. Prayers for you and Cookie. She will be in great hands, but I know it is still gut-wrenching and emotional.

My Cookie was having a blast this morning in the waiting room, *talking* to the other dogs and their people.......but when they came for her she started looking upset. It killed me to walk away from her. :(

She is indeed in great hands, but I still hate it so much. Dr. Beale is doing a stifle arthroscopy and a TPLO. She should be good as new when it is over.

Oh well....might as well take a nap! Had to be up so early to get her there by 7. She is scheduled for later in the day. They said she is sitting quietly watching the world go by...and looks relaxed. So...that makes me feel better.
