poor little Sophie has been sick
 

hello to all, our Sophie has been sick now for months.she has had red and swollen feet, just generally feeling yucky. She doesn't seem to want to play much when she's not feeling well, little appetite, she drinks very little, she doesn't even want to go potty unless you make her go outside, for normal kisses she doesn't seem to want to give them and she's lacking her normal spunky energy.

we have had lots of tests blood work, allergy test, smears, skin scrapings and all have been inconclusive..... some positve results for allegories but things not in her diet or her environment especially since this started in the winter, her sore paws have shown some fungus & bacteria, we have done a variety of medications for her, antibiotics, various allergy meds, steroids, anti fungal creams, mite med even though no mites showed in her tests, different lotions/creams and bacterial washes... all haven't made her feel better....we are switching her food even though we cant see anything she is allegeric to in her food (blue buffalo), now she will be on a presctibtion diet.

has anyone had this happen with their dog?
any advice you may have eould be greatly appreciated.
can anyone recommend other websites to post pictures and Sophie's symptoms too so we may find some other ideas that could help her?

Any new carpeting (or freshly cleaned carpeting) in the house? Any thing new or changed in the surfaces she walks on? Have you had any work done in the home, any exterminators? Do you use any plug-in air fresheners?

Thank you for your help, no new carpet and not washed, no air freshners, no changes in her environment in or out that we've been able to figure out?

Have you taken her to a specialist or a vet school?
