Update on poodle with retrobulbar abscess
Thank you for the prayers! My LiL Peaches got a clean bill of health from the eye specialist yesterday. She said she is 99.9999% sure - as sure as she can possibly be - that there is NO CANCER hiding behind the eye. They looked behind her eye with a scope and saw no foreign body, no infection, and no tumor. She also had dental exrays and no infected tooth. Conclusion is the abscess must have come from a sinus infection due to seasonal allergies. Ten more days of antibiotics, ten more days of ointment in the eye, just to be absolutely sure we've knocked out all the infection. And see ya in a year!! Woo Hoo! My sweet old girl dodged another bullet.
