I looked up your PetMed spray and I agree it is scary. But first, the dog chewed its feet and probably ingested a large dose. Second could it be that the seizures were not related to the spray? Lidocaine is used in many topical sprays for dogs and humans and I am sure if it were so dangerous it would not be sold? Anyway, it seems that the chemical should be used with care and in minimal amounts.
Thanks for bringing this up, I will be more cautious with the spray from now on.
Perhaps others have used this and have comments?

I think a thorn scraped her leg just above the knee... it wouldn't heal, after meds they did a culture and found it was fungal. She ended up having to have a skin graft done!

For general type First Aid... wash the wound with regular soap and water, rinse well and dry. With the feet you may want to use a blow dryer on low setting. Then you can apply a small dab of triple AB ointment. Best not to bandage a puncture wound.

well if its just tender she will lift when not walking. My dog broke her leg and had surgery and was crated for 8 weeks. She moves/walks trots on it like there is no pain but when she stands she sometimes lifts it. It prob doesnt bother your baby when shes moving but when shes still she feels the tenderness. I would give it another day and if it still the same have it checked..

Eek! Well Uni seems to be ok now. It's been a few hours and she lets me look at it and now she's running around. Bf just said, see I told you she was ok. :rolleyes::p

I put coconut oil on it earlier.

Good choice! Just remembered, I got 2 tiny cuts on my finger doing gardening work yesterday, and boy do they hurt! Like tiny paper cuts. Just put some CO on them... Thanks! Lol!:D

So glad Uni's feeling better!

I put Krazy Glue on paper cuts...on myself. Don't think I would do that to one of my pups. :D

Glad Uni's doing better, but Foxtails, are often seen this time of year and can work their way up further instead of coming out. They often start between the toes. Read more about them here: Protecting Your Dog Against Foxtails | The Bark They are abundant in California.

Thanks for linking that article! What i pulled out from Uni's paw wasn't a foxtail but now I know to be more careful about those things. Usually I see those little round spiky balls that sometimes get caught in her feet, not foxtails.

Do you think it could've been those horrific spiky ball droppings from a sweet gum tree? I dislike those trees so much, stuff falls from those trees 24-7, 365! The smaller spiky thingies stick to their leg hairs, very annoying! Turbo stepped on a spiky ball during a walk & a spike got enlodged in his paw. He cried out & couldn't walk, so I carried him the rest of the way home. Used a tweezer to get it out. Disinfected it w/hydrogen peroxide & put some vaseline on it loll. Bandaged it up & he was ok, no vet needed & no infection.
Glad to hear Uni is doing better!

I sounds like a goat head, and I have stepped on those they hurt a lot. They all over this time of year.

Yeah the article scared me to death, I thought they were a nuisance, but didn't realize how dangerous they were.

I know Uni is fine now, but if this happened to Tatiana, I would have cleansed the paw with betadine, added neosporin, and put a doggie sock on that foot (so she can't lick at it, keeps the foot clean, and buffer the foot so it's less painful). To make sure the sock stays on, I like to use a small strip of velcro (that's for wire management) around the sock, and fold the top down over it like a cuff. I would check on the foot 2-3 times a day to make sure it's healing (and not getting worse).
