Feeling Bad After Shots Our 1-1/2 year old 5 lb just got his vaccinations tonite & he's so larthargic. What can I give him to make him feel better or will he be better in the morning? I hate him feeling bad. :-( |
Oh my, Princess Sophie gets lethargic after shots and usually sleeps al lot the rest of the day. Wish I could offer advice but for these tiny pups I have no idea what to tell you. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me! LOL Hold on...help is on the way, I'm sure!!! |
I was wondering on how many Vaccinations your baby received. These days people space out the shots giving at least two weeks between different vaccinations to minimize the effects on our babies. Here are some great threads about Vaccines http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-part-1-a.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-part-2-a.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ter-tests.html I hope you baby feels better soon. |
He got two. Next year I'll space them out - that's a great idea. Thank you for the info. |
Buddy's back to normal - whew! What a relief! |
Great to hear. I space Galen's shots out. One at a time and spaced out at least 2 weeks in between |

Yay...."Buddy is back to normal"......so wonderful! :) |
My vet said many pups were having this problem with the rabies vaccine. He spreads them out as well. So glad your baby feels better now!! |
