Wow! what a difference a day makes! Someone was perky, bouncing around and happy this morning. He loves the bland canned prescription food, proof that as long as he feels good, he will eat anything! LOL He's taken his meds this morning and I can't say he feels great, but I think he feels so much better that HE thinks he feels pretty good! Poops are still soft, but formed now. The vet said she asked the lab for his pathology report to go to the head of the line, so hopeful we might hear something this week instead of next, but no guarantees. We are so happy he seems to be doing so well, but still scared that it may just be temporary. One day at a time. I'm glad we waited so that he could have the biopsy and have a diagnosis, but I know he was in grave danger by the end of the weekend. We could have treated earlier, but then we would have forfeited a diagnosis of the biopsy. She said he may have responded to treatment (can see now he would have), but then if he stopped responding in a couple weeks, we wouldn't have the diagnosis to tell us to help with further treatment. Anyway, I'm so grateful he's come this far and am hopeful now that he will recover and we can manage this. I know he was not meant to leave us this soon and that the prayers from this forum have made a difference. Thank you everyone.
