Sending prayers for sweet Sunny D. Bless his little heart, he's been through so much. |
4 Attachment(s) Pics of Sunny D from my visit with him yesterday. While he looks sad, he is definitely feeling better now that the tube is out of his nose. The morning update was that he is tolerating his tube feedings well. :) Will be visiting him later. Attachment 381884 Attachment 381885 Attachment 381886 Attachment 381887 |
I hope your sweet baby gets well very soon. His eyes really stirred my heart. I pray that wellness, peace, and sheer joy return to you and your special family. |

Poor Sunny D ... all four match. :( And, they wonder why he is now biting people in there. He has a "watch" sign now because he has been getting mighty ticked off at them. I think he has simply had it with the place..and with all of the pokes and other misc. hurts. He does like one of the techs really well...today when she came in the room to get him, he walked right over to her wagging his tail. The vet thinks he does not like men but I told her he has never been like this before. He is normally a very sweet, laid back pup with everyone, even my grandson. Poor baby has had it. Actually, the night before he went back he went after me.....he was hiding under the bed and completely out of sorts. I felt SO bad....it is so good to see him feeling better. |

I am glad that Sunny D still continues to improve. I don't blame him for wanting to bite people who have been poking and sticking him. I can tell you I have felt that way many times, with my previous medical issues. LOL Prayers do still continue for Sunny D. |

I will continue to pray for him. |
Sunny D had two days at home with me and was able to have a small bit of normalcy. Sadly we could not keep him out of renal failure and he took a sudden turn for the worse today. I let Sunny D go to Rainbow Bridge at 3:05 PM today. While I am devastated because I had so much hope for him, I know he is now at peace. Our precious boy is with the angels now. God Speed Sweet Sunny D |
Oh I am sorry that you had to let Sunny D go to the Rainbow Bridge. It was a small blessing that he did get to come home and be with his family before his passing. He was with those he loved and that loved him. Sweet Blessings newest Yorkie Angel Sunny D. My deepest condolences Linda. I know you and your team of Vets did all the could for Sunny D. Hugs to you. |

oh no :( Linda I am so sorry for your loss, :( I know you did everything that you could for SunnyD, He is in no pain now and will forever run and play and be happy. you are in my prayers. |
I was so sorry to read about Sunny, Linda. I know you are crushed. It's heartbreaking but it sounds as if all that could be done for Sunny D was done and beyond that, it was time to let that sweet baby be finally free of pain and illness. I know your heart is breaking but you and Sunny and the vets all fought for a long, long time for that precious life and won for as long as you all could. In life, there is a season for everything but it's just that the season for letting them go is so permanent. So forever. But little Sunny lives on like sunshine in your heart and memory and always will. There Sunny will shine forever and beyond that. |

Since I first heard Sunny D.'s story, he has had a piece of my heart, so cannot even imagine your sadness at his loss. I hope there is some comfort in knowing he is without pain at the Bridge and playing with all of our little ones. |
1 Attachment(s) Sweet Sunny D with a toy...oh, how he loved toys. He was the toy hog in my house...created quite a few squabbles. :) This was taken in November...I am in shock that a healthy young boy could get so sick so fast. :( Attachment 382124 |
So Sad I'm so sorry that you had to let Sunny D go Linda....you and the wonderful vets did all you could for him against all odds.
