Callie questions Ok this isn't exactly an emergency but sense she just a a procedure I thought I would ask here. Occasionally Callie makes a little noise that kinda sounds like a groan its not very often and I do not believe it is her breathing because I have listened to her breathing for a while and it sounds normal. I am giving her the pain meds like I am supposed to and everything and she does not seem to be in pain. Do you think it is probably a groan and that she is ok? Also how long until I can expect poop? She is drinking and peeing fine but this last time I took her out she kinda pooped but not really it was a small drop like small enough to fit on a quarter and not liquid it was normal just so very little. She did not strain or anything. Sorry probably just being a worry wart. |
3-5 days till a normal poop, and the groan may be from the pain meds... like just a super-relaxed response. |
The day I picked Jackson up from his dental procedure, he was SO whiny. Like literally for about two hours afterward, he was just whining and crying NON-STOP. Not even like a whine every few minutes. Literally non stop. He was just so freaked out by the feeling after anesthesia, I think. And he did not poop that night. Anesthesia can effect every one in different ways. |
Thanks guys. |
