Fatty Tumor Does anyone have experience with their pup having a fatty tumor? The reason I am asking is that Buster, my YHR foster, had one the size of my fist in his "armpit." The vet removed it when he had a dental last week. The vet put a drain tube in this area and it is coming out today, I think. He appears to be recovering nicely and hopefully will get the stitches out soon. Anyway, just curious. This is a new one to me. |
Good morning! :) Not with little Harry, but Rosie our lab was VERY prone to fatty tumours, especially as she got older. I think we had 4 removed in total - they were all benign, but all quite huge.... It seemed like the vet was always whipping one out then stitching her up....then the wait for the results - yuck. She had to wear her 'collar' for a week or so, then all was back to normal again. I really hope all goes well for you :) Sally + Harry x |
I haven't had this experience but I wanted to say that I'm praying for Buster to have a full recovery. I'm sure he will :) |
