I am very happy to hear that her highness is getting back to her usual self! Giving Mikki a hard time is a really good sign. (Whenever I see my guys cuddling, I panic and want to know what is wrong ;):p:)). |
Whew! So glad Rosie and Tibbe are both on the mend!! I don't know many of you, but know that Auntie Jacqui really does worry when a little one isn't well...I worry soo much...glad you got her to the vet, you are such a good mommy~huggzz!! |

I dealt with intestinal issues for a long time with Ashley, and it always broke my heart. She always had gas pockets due to taking in too much air into her belly due to her collapsing trachea. She also suffered from irritable bowel. I home cooked for her, but we frequently had challenges to get her to eat. I always had medications on hand that helped her a great deal, but we also spent a lot of time at the vet. I strongly believed in being proactive with her. Having a wonderful doctor also made a huge difference, and with his help, Ashley lived a good quality of life for seventeen years. My vet isn't close to me, but he often told me that if I was willing to make the long trip each day for treatment rather than leaving her overnight at the hospital, it would be so much better for my little girl to get better staying home with me. Our babies depend on us for everything. I don't ever want to look back and realize that I let one of my babies down. I believe we have a great responsibility to do everything that we can realistically do to ensure that our babies stay well. Although she is very healthy, I am also just as proactive with my precious Katie. It gives me peace of mind. You are a great momma, Rhonda. I'm overjoyed that Rosie Marie is feeling better. |

Lisa, you just said a mouthful there girl. I hope others will read that and understand how important it is to be responsible. And how much these little ones depend on us. It is not ok to wait sometimes. Sometimes seeing a vet is the only answer. Hopefully what you have written will inspire others to see that. Thank you for your kind words. Rosie is my sweet baby. I have been so blessed to have her the last 5 years. :) |
