Did you take Mandi to the vet as a result of the pain when poo'g? She could be battling to pass a stool after her anesthetic. Sometimes this causes them to be constipated and of course that can cause them to have difficulty in passing and pain. After surgery some don't eat well or especially drink much leading to constipation. They just need some liquid paraffin 2mls (check with your vet first in case there is a post-op complication.) Hope she has recovered by now & is feeling like her old self.. | Quote:

Sorry posted reply on Gracielove's reply by mistake. I am a newbie..still trying to find my way around:confused: | I haven't contacted the vet yet because she is poo'ing (so far). I've been making sure she eats good and drinks her water. She probably wouldn't drink enough on her own, though...I've been giving her water with a dropper a lot to compensate.
I will definitely contact the vet if this continues. I can't have my baby uncomfortable or in pain..it kills me.
Thank you for your advice, avemike! :) |
