Please Help!!!! Extremly Dry Skin!!! My KiKi is having really bad skin problems...I know for sure she doesn't have any fleas or ticks. ..but for some reason, she just keep on scratching and it's to a point that her skin is really red, and sometimes with tiny blood spot too... I don't bath her that much, I only do it about once every 2 weeks ...unless she gets really dirty and smelly...I also only use oatmeal shampoo and I also put condition on her coat too...but she just keep on scratching and scratching ...all day..So I have to put clothes on her to keep her from 'hurting" herself.... anything else I can do to stop it? |
sorry Sorry guys..i couldn't delete this thread for some reason...but I just read the ones that were previously posted about dry skin and I will try the suggestions from there...SORRY |
I had that similar problem and the vet gave me cortisoothe shampoo and it really helped.Cathy and Yoshi |
Lipiderm or Linatone are both very good. They help prevent scratching, dull coats & flaky skin. It also seems to improve their hair growth. I've used it on my Yorkies and it works. You can get it at PetSmart or Petco. |
