Barney had a similar growth and the rule out diagnosis was a mast cell also. It turned out to be a benign sebaceous hyperplasia. They just don't know until the pathology comes back. I hope it's nothing!!

Sarah I know what you mean:( That day when I took Jada in, 3 days after feeling the little pea sized lump on her back, I was in shock when our Vet asked what she had eaten that morning and told me it was in her best interest to get it out that day. I was beside myself with fear. I sat in the rocking chair he has in his office and rocked her for at least an hour before I could leave.
Try not to worry (yeah right I know) but prayers are going up that it is nothing bad.
| Poor baby, that day :eek: I didn't even realize poor Jada had it removed that very day! I would have been a MESS! At least I have time to prepare for the surgery and baby Sophia until Tuesday :p. I'm very nervous, but optimistic. |
