Sadie and seizures While I was feeding the 6 pack tonight I called for Sadie and she usually comes running but she didnt so I went looking for her and she was on the couch in a full blown seizure. I quick got her a half of volume but this one was real bad and I had to leave for work so I left her with DH and my Grand daughter. When I got home they told me that the seizure lasted a lot longer than her last one but she was fine when I came home. I am just wondering if it is time to take her back to the vet and see about the medicine. She does not have them often but they seem to be lasting longer and getting worse. I was so worried about her this time. I am calling the vet in the am to see what she thinks. Please keep my baby girl in your prayers. |
Yes I would take her to see the vet. Poor baby. Prayers for Sadie. And hugs to mom. I know how hard it is when they are sick. :( |

Sending LOTS of prayers for little Sadie.. hugs, |
I would deff get her to the vet. You may have said in the past, has she ever had an MRI & what were the results ? If not I would deff be going to a Neuro & getting an MRI. I'll be Praying for her. |
Yes. Elvis' are awful he has cluster seizures so we went from a right to z but I have read everywhere if the frequency duration changes to seek immediate veterinary care. |
Yes I think you should take her back. We have a young dog (not Yorkie) have seizures and her med have to increase to bring her out in times. Longer seziure can cause other problems if the med is not right. |
Poor Sadie will be keeping her and her Mommy in my prayers. Please post what the vet says.:animal-pa Anne/Luci |
keeping sadie in my thoughts and prayers. |
Praying for Sadie:love: I hope that the vet will be able to help! |
It may be time for a Change in meds . My Alfie has epilepsy and is on phenobarbitone, it has helped a lot has longer in between fits and they don't last as long but if it gets more frequent we have to have the dosage changed. I hope your little one is ok |
Took Sadie to the vet, she put her on phenobarbitone. I do not think I spelled that right lol. Hopefully this will help her. Thank you all for the kind words and prayers |
