I don't know if this would help or not, but when my bf got his doberman puppy (2 months old ) and he was extremly dehydrated too and the vet suggested us to mix a little Gadorate with water to feed him and it really helped and gave the puppy an energy boost......

Sue I am so very sorry to hear about the little guy. You and him are in my prayers. I'm never too busy to pray for you or anyone! I lost my little tiny girl today...she had similar problems, but not pnuemonia. I had been bottle feeding her for days, she would not make an attempt to nurse on her own, so I fed her myself, she did great for days, then for no reason she was gone. She had even gained 1/2 ounce in 4 days and was trying to crawl around some (she weighed 3 1/2 oz as of today)...I was so hope-ful. I have a feeling your little guy will pull through. He is definitley on my prayer list. You hang in there.

Update on "Little Man"
 

Thank you everyone for you prayers, If we can get through a few more days I will feel better, and if we make it for his check up in a week I will feel even much better....

Here is his update. We made it through another night. This morning he was holding his own, so I will hold back on the gloucose injection as he nursed from his mother and was eating solids and drinking a little water. He engaged in a little play with me and had some kisses. I feel that he is feeling a little better, but you can see that he still struggles a little with breathing... I am seeing a little improvement in that area as well. It has only been a couple of days, so I really don't want to get my hopes up just yet, but last night was a good sign that he held his own. I will continue to keep you all posted and hoping I only bring good news everyday. Keep the power of prayer going for him as we are not out of the woods yet.

Robbie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is so hard to have these things happen. We work so hard and mother nature just comes in and snatches them away from us. I know how you feel, I worked 11 days with Little Man's sister to have the same thing happen. My heart goes out to you... it is hard. I have coffee with my little angel every morning when I take everyone out for the first time of the day. As they do their thing I visit with her... as she will always be in my heart and never forgotten. RIP Robbie's little Angel.

Just checking in to see how little man is doing? He's been on my mind since I read this thread. I know you're giving him the best of everything! And what a sweet little sister to be watching over him and giving him hugs! :hug:

Well... your ears must have been burning -- as you were posting the update as I was posting mine. So glad to hear he seems to be feeling better! We'll keep the prayers going -- and you keep up the good work!!! We all know he's in the best hands!
