i am so very sorry for your loss. thank you for sharing so this is prevented from happening to anyonelses baby. my prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Thank you all for the kind words. I am having the most difficult time dealing with my Roxie's death. I cry ALOT! I simply cannot seem to get over it. I have three other yorkies, but she was so very special. She was the only one I raised from a puppy, six weeks. She was the friendliest, happiest and most loving little girl there ever was. She would smother you with kisses. Her tail wagged all the time. I don't think I can stand this sometimes. I pray that there really is a Rainbow Bridge and she will meet me there one day. It keeps me going. :aimeeyork:animal-pa

I am so sorry that you are having a difficult time with your loss of your sweet Roxy..
I so have to believe we will see them again. Losing them is quite unbearable. They all touch our hearts in different ways, but yes, some really do take a big chunk from our hearts when they leave us. In 2006 I lost a beloved little guy named Maxwell...I honestly did not think I would ever get over it....and while I don't cry often now, I think of him often still. When Sunny D passed the other day I said to my son that I hoped Maxwell would be there with him. The only thing I can say is that in time the good memories do tend to help get you past the pain.

I'm so sorry, while one nut might not cause death in a large dog, it's very possible it cause death in a yorkie. My condolences. I wish there were more warnings on things we buy.

This is such a sad loss for you and your family. I am so very sorry. I also thank you for sharing this information with us as it is something I did not know. I will add it to my list of poisons. Again, I am sorry and pray for you to find peace!! R.I.P. little Bella!!
