Sophia will have her luxating patella surgery....
 
Next Thursday sweet Sophia will have surgery on both of her knees. She is a grade 4 in both of them. They seem to be bothering her more...I want to take care of it before any arthritis sets in.

Just keep her in your thoughts. I'm a little nervous, but I know this is the best thing for her at this time.

She also has a small cyst on the back of her neck that will get removed at the same time.

I feel so bad that little Sophia has to go through surgery. I will pray that all goes well with the surgery and the recovery. Hugs to you!

Oh, that is my dream!!!! :) She loves walks, but I know they are hard on her. It'll be great when she is all better and can prance along beside Peyton with no pain!

I understand how you feel. Layla goes in on Monday for her LP surgery! A softee collar is a MUST :) I will be sending good thoughts your way!

I'll be keeping Miss Sophia in my thoughts. Mojo will have to go through this eventually. He has a grade 3 and a grade 4 in his back knees. It doesn't seem to bother him right now, so we'll probably put the surgery off for a while yet. I wish Sophia a speedy recovery!

I had to move the surgery to August 2nd...I will be gone for a few days next week and after that we are going to TN....so we will do the surgery when we get back.

It is best to do it when you can be home with her so your decision was good. Layla has been home since yesterday afternoon and is very needy!
Oh and if you don't have a buggy- get one! What a life saver it has been!

I was just checking in because I was thinking about her this morning, I see it will happen in a few weeks, sending good thoughts your way for a nice trip to TN, are you going to be able to see Michelle, Jada, and Bogie?
