Thing on eye growing (Pics included) HELP! 2 Attachment(s) So I noticed this thing on his eye a couple weeks ago on the bottom lid. It was very small and his eye was never irritated so I figured I would just keep a close eye on it. Well it's grown bigger but again does not bother him at all but it is scaring me and I feel now I should take him in. What is this???? How did he all a sudden he get it? My poor baby....please any advice and thoughts on what it is would be great. Thanks! |
I am not sure what your little one has but you should get him to the vet Asap. Good luck. |
I don't have any advice, but totally agree he should be looked at. I've heard the eyes are nothing to mess with. Sending good thoughts and prayers for your little one. Keep us posted you what the vet finds please. |
It will be easier to remove when it's smaller as opposed to haveing it get bigger... I'd have him seen asap. |
I agree, take him to the vet ASAP. Your vet will probably give you an ointment and oral med. |
Bless his little heart! Sitting there so patiently, with a bump on his eye! I would take him in....like already mentioned above, it is easier to remove when it is small, if it is something that needs removal.....it may very well be something that can be handled medically. |

It's best to get it removed as it can be very irritating to them and they will scratch at it and it can become infected. |
I agree a vet visit is in order. I hope it is something minor. |
My Ruby just had one of those removed in the fall. It will continue to grow & eventually start to bother the eye so it's best to have it removed now. |
I found this information: How to Remove a Dog's Eye Wart | eHow.com Eye tumors in dogs. Seems whether it a wart or tumor, it needs to be removed and biopsied. |
