Rome need yt's help please OK before you judge me i had to quit both my jobs due to medical reasons. Unfortunately I took my baby Rome to his grandmas house because her loving pitt loves Rome and he fell down the stairs and his front paws are wrapped. He is able to move his shoulders and paws but he can't walk on his front paws, I don't have the proper expenses to take him to the vet. Now i've been putting ice on his paws and taking him to the bathroom which has been excruciating and very tiring the past few days i don't know what to do or if a vet would be so kind to look at him he's been crying when ever he goes to sleep and even sometimes urinates. PLEASE HELP ME ! |
I am sorry Rome is injured. I would ask my grandmother to help out with the vet bills. I am sure it is excruciating for him and it may be tiring for you but it sounds like your dog is in a lot of pain. I would look into care credit or call up family and take my dog in to a vet regardless. If that does not work I would turn him over to a rescue so he can get the care he needs. I am sorry you are having difficulties but ignoring an animal in pain is cruel. I just looked up Reno and low cost animal care and came up with this site. Please contact them and do further research to help Rome as you are his guardian. ^^I agree, please take Rome somewhere tonight and surrender him if necessary. Your baby is in pain and it sounds like he has traumatic injuries. Please do not let him suffer another minute. |
yeah i promised myself that if i couldn't afford to care for him then i would have to do whats best and hope that he gets better thank you so much i truly appreciate it I'm definitely going to give a call around. It really hurts my heart that he is in so much pain i have actually called my mother and cried its so frustrating. Thank you and please keep him in prayers Thank you so much! |

Things will work out, maybe not the way you exactly want them, but in Romes best interest you have to do what you have to do. Immediately go to your nearest EMERGENCY VET - CALL THE RESCUE WHILE YOU ARE WAITING, let the EMERGENCY VET KNOW YOU ARE DOING ALL YOU CAN TO SAVE THIS PUP. YOU may have to sign him over to them, and if you do make sure before you sign that they have in writing that they are going to treat him and not put him down. Alternatively, do you have a vet? If you do call that vet right now and tell them exactly what is going on. YOU MUST ACT NOW. We care about you and your pup, but right now he is the priority we will help you through whatever happens. I am praying that others with more knowlege and help will post soon, but I think they will agree - GO TO THE EMERGENCY VET NOW. please, please, please go now. |

ok my grandmas old friend works at a vet clinic near her house so hopefully he'll be seen wish us the best were headed out the door, ill check in later to give you guys the 411 thank you!!! |

GREAT NEWS HE DIDN'T BREAK HIS FRONT ARMS HE SPRANG HIS WRIST THE DOCTOR SAID JUST LIKE ANY CHILD HE'S GROWING STILL, HE'LL BE OFF HIS FEET A WHILE MY MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER IS HELPING ME WITH THE MEDICAL BILLS IM SO RELIEVED, THEY ALSO GAVE ME SOME MEDICINE TO GIVE HIM FOR PAIN AND TO HELP HIM SLEEP. I COULDN'T BE ANY MORE GRATEFUL FOR THE SUPPORT AND GREAT ADVISE HE WILL GO BACK NEXT WEEK FOR A FOLLOW UP AND HOPEFULLY HAVE HIS CAST REMOVED ILL POST PICS SOON. :love::love::love::love::love: |

Great news that it is only a sprain. Thanks for taking Rome in to the vet! I hope things work out for you as well. It sounds like times are hard for you but at least you have great family support. Best wishes and thanks to your Grandma and Mom as well. I hope you get a chance to post pictures of Rome we would love to see your little boy. |
