Should I be more worried?? OK, so at 5am this morning I woke up to my little Roxy vomiting (only once) it was a white-brown color with some food particles and what appeared to be plastic & string (I think it could be part of a chicken flavored nylabone she likes to chew on, but I haven't let her chew on it in 2 days) Now it's 12pm, and she has been acting fine, no more vomiting, running around being her playful self. She hasn't really touched her food or water yet, but she was able to pee/poop. Could it be possible that it was the nylabone she vomited up, could it have sat in her stomach for over a day? And should I be more concerned about this situation? I haven't called the vet about this. |
that happened to my Relay, about a year ago , I took him to the vet, he was fine, but she recomend to stop the nylabones and rather give him bully sticks for chewing, it has not happen since I stop the nylabones. hope your fur baby is ok.. hugs, |
I would take the nylabone away & make sure she continues to poo regularly. If she stops pooping then you need to be worried as she could have a blockage. If the nylabone is a hard one & not the rubbery one then there should not be a problem but the rubber puppy nylabones can be chewed up by an adult dog & large peaces can block them. |
Yeah I already got rid of the nylabone, it was a rubber one not the hard one. She still has been acting fine, I called the vet and they said just to monitor her but I think she is ok. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, her appetite is good and she has been going regularly. I'll post again if anything changes. Thank you for your thoughts! :) |
Good to hear she is getting back to normal! |
