Newbie with some questions about my pet Yorkie Hi everyone I've just came across this website and it seems to be really good, everyone's question seems to get answered so thought i'd seek a bit of advice. I have a 5 year old bitch called molly but she doesn't seem herself this last couple of weeks, i don't know if these things are normal but hope someone can tell me. 1.She bites at her paws quite a lot. 2.She sometimes bites at her rear end area. 3.She's been scratching at the ear a lot and has ended up cutting it. Have you had any experience with these symptoms? Thanks in advance. Paul |
sounds like allergies and or ear infection. i would suggest a vet visit to confirm and medicate. good luck hope molly feels better. |
That is what it sounds like to me also. Allergeries and or an ear infection, and or impacted anal glands. Put booties on her rear paws so that she doesn't irritate her ears more. You can use an old pair of baby socks and using medical tape wrap around stifle so that the socks stay on. Just make sure not to wrap too tight. Once wrapped/taped you should be able to move bootie around a bit. |
I agree as well |
