Our little girl is not herself today. When we opened her crate this morning she did not come out on her own. Very unusual. We thought maybe she was just tired and had no real worry. We did some errands for a couple of hours and when we got home, she did not greet us at the door, she did not come when we called her. We found her sitting under a table, she did not come when we entered the room. She just sat with her ears drooping. We picked her up and took her outside to potty. She ALWAYS potties on command, she did not even move. She just stood there in a submissive position. She was shivering on and off. Didn't eat any breakfast.
Well, we took her immediately to the vet. Slight temp, but all other vitals were good. Did blood work. Just called and it was all EXCELLENT, Exquisite, the vet said. She was not dehydrated. No vomiting or diahrrea. She is still lethargic and won't come out of her travel bag. She has slept almost all day. The vet said to keep an eye on her as there wasn't anything obvious wrong.
She does not go outside without us, does not eat from the trash, etc. I'm worried. I'm afraid to go to sleep as she might bet worse. Has anyone ever had their furbaby act "like they don't feel good" and not have anything obvious wrong. I'm so worried, seeing the vet didn't ease my mind for tonight, just the immediate time. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks

Update on Bella
 

Bella is still not herself this morning. She actually ate some turkey baby food and I was able to get her to take water from a syringe. Called the vet and we have a 10:30 appointment this morning.
No new symptoms, just lethargic and does not show interest in any activity, walking, interacting, etc. She just wants to be held and cuddled in her blanket.
She has not been shaking today.
So worried. Someone reccomended X-rays. Is this the next step? What do we expect the vet to suggest.
Never been in this situation before. She's 3 years old, 5 lbs.

Glad you are taking her to the vet again, not eating is not normal. When was the last time she had a BM? Could there be an obstruction?

When Joey had an eye ulceration, his primary symptom was he wouldn't eat, I guess an eye ulceration is very painful, and this affects their appetite. The vet said they can get it from just rubbing their head on the carpet. You might want to ask about that, but other than that I have no idea, and I just hope she feels better soon.

When my Cricket had bouts of pancreatitis, she would not eat, could not seem to get comfortable, would shiver/shake, want to be held. I'm not sure what blood tests were run. I would worry she is in some kind of pain. Pancreatitis is very painful. So are some other things also - as mentioned eye ulcerations, bowel obstructions. I'm glad you are taking her back to the vet.

Poor sweet girl. I hope you will be able to figure it out soon.
