Best whishes and prayers for your old guy. |
Happy to hear your ol' guy is doing well. I hope he continues to improve and live many happy years yet.:) |
Just wanted to share about Tinker.....He is eating us out of house and home. He has completely mended and sometimes takes a playful puppy stance. He is rather arthritic, but he still has some spunk.....I am such a Yorkie nut.....love them all! |

That is wonderful news!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: I love YT... I learn something all the time. I didn't know this about Seniors. Thank you for sharing your story and thank goodness it has a happy end! |
6 months have passed since Tinker joined our family! He is thriving and has trained us very well. :)....He now weighs 6.2 lbs, he is sporting a brand new puppy cut for the summer, he made his first road trip to Florida and back recently and is eating us out of house and home!! I can't say this very loud, but I think he might be one of the best little Yorkies I have ever had. The other four pack members might take offense so let us keep that to ourselves!!:animal-pa |
I read through all your posts and I am so glad Tinker is doing so well that's awesome:D |
So glad to hear he is doing very well. Things have worked out great for him.:) |
Hi everyone! Tinker is still thriving. He is up in weight by nearly 3 lbs. He was very under nourished when I got him. After having his single infected tooth extracted, deworming, flea treatment, and worse of all the recovery from his attack he has blossomed into a precious pet. He tries to run, though difficult. He follows my husband around like he is a god. He has us on a pretty tight feeding schedule. We indulge him fully because that is what we pledged to him....lol. Oh, the fact that he has the loudest single syllable "YAP" when he wants food, to toilet, or to go to bed has alot to do with it too!! LOL....He has been on many roadtrips and loves to go camping. When we walk with the rest of the "5" pack, he is allowed to walk for a while then we carry him due to his broken carpal joints. Anyway, thanks for your support. I can rattle on and on about my fur babies!! |
Great news! So glad to hear he is thriving! |

R.I.P. Tinker Toy...... It has been sometime since I have posted here. For those that responded to past post regarding our Tinker, I wanted to say that sadly, Tinker left us on February 1, 2014. My heart is completely broken. Tinker would have been 16 years old on April 10. I so wanted to see that day with him. He thrived and had as many wonderful adventures and treats as we could give him in our short 2 1/2 years together. His little body was so tired in the end. He had some difficulties for about two weeks before his passing. We were using medication to no avail. He sat next to my husband and ate a really nice dinner and seemed to be ending what had been a fairly good day. About an hour later, he went to my husband and lay at his feet. We gathered him and took him to his bed to make him more comfortable. He passed within 10 minutes. It was a quick peaceful passing that I had prayed for. Please know that this little creature was treasured beyond belief. He will be missed!! |
Oh I'm so sorry for your loss! I know you and your husband's hearts are broken. Prayers sent your way. Rest in peace, little one. |
I am so sorry to read about the loss of Tinker Toy. I know he had a WONDERFUL life with your family. His passing sounds like the best anyone could wish for a good meal and spending time with those we love. God Bless the newest Yorkie Angel Tinker. My sympathies to you and your family. |
Bless you for giving this senior so much love in his last years. Thank you for keeping us updated. |
