Update on Ceeby (and me)
 
Ceeby vomited big time after my last post last night so I gave him a small syringe of the pepto and he didn't vomit anymore. i went to bed a couple of hours. when I got up at three i tried to give him Nutracal and he wouldn't take it. At five i got a little nutrical in him and then he ate some off my finger. Not his usual dose. Just the fact that he ate it off my finger was an improvement. Then later he ate about four bites of my other dog's hard food and chewed on his chewstick for a few minutes. So i think he is a tiny bit better. he has had only one drink of water this morning but is still peeing good. Just gave him a dropper full of chicken broth someone suggested and he is in my lap making noises like he is going to throw up. I can see a tiny improvement tho. he will be going to the vet at 7:30 in the morning even if he is better. Please keep praying for him. I believe God is concerned about our little ones too. have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thanks

I am glad he is doing a little better. That you got a little food down him is great. I am sorry you are going through this when you arent well. I would take him to the vet too. Hes such a tiny little guy. I wouldnt take any chances. Hope you both are better soon. Keep us updated.

Talked to the vet about an hour ago and told him everything we have been doing. he said for us to give him Nutracal three times today (we have been trying to give more) give him pedialyte every hour all day and thru the night and another dose or two of pepto and he should be alright in the morning if not he will put him in the hospital at seven in the morning for IV's. Since we have talked to the vet, he has eaten some more on his own and fetched his toy to me once. He is looking all over the floor for something to eat and he has everything down to eat. Surprisingly, he ate his Chicken Soup dog food (a few bites) and passed his Ceaser's up. I am feeling better. At least he is showing some life. We cancelled our out of town Thanksgiving dinner so we can be here with him. i think he is on the mend. Thanks everyone for your prayers

I'm so thankful that everything is getting better. You had us all worried - he sounds like he'll be back to normal in a few days. I will pray and think about you tonight. Good luck - and keep us posted.

i am still very worried. he has only peed once today that I know of. I have been with him almost constantly. he has been pee pad trained for peeing but could have gone somewhere else since he is so sick. I am going to take him to the vet in the morning even if he is a little better. I know he needs fluids. He is not drinking. The vet told us to give him three cc's of pedialyte every hour and that is all the fluid he has had except for the one little drink earlier today.

Poor little thing it sounds like he'll be going on the IVs. I hope that helps him and he is better soon. You sure have been through alot with him lately.

Bless his heart! I don't understand why he doesn't eat well and feel well. I can't understand what it could be.
