Thor is sick As you all know I got Thor and Little Bit neutered on Saturday. Yesterday Thor started having runny stools and now today it is like water and he just threw up. Is this normal after being neutered? Should I take him to the er vet? I remember Scooter had runny stool after his surgery to but he never threw up. Can I give him amodium. My niece told me she gives it to her dogs when they get loose stool but I am not just going to do that. I put a call in to the vet but who knows what time he may call back and I am worried. |
I have been through several of our pets being neutered, but they were all big dogs until Bogie and even with Bogie, I never experienced one that had runny stools after surgery. I hope your vet calls soon and we are sending Thor get well soon prayers and thoughts. |
The vet just called me and told me this is not normal to take away all food and nothing but water for the rest of the night and bring him in first thing in the morning. Now there is blood in his stool but I think it is because he has been going so much. I will keep you all updated. |
