We had similar issue with our two year old male yorkie. Neutered. It was a hair issue and we had the vet treat it with surgical scissors and disinfectant. Put vVaselineon very lightly for a few days and made sure hair in privates area is trimmed well all the time. Problem totally resolved after a while and has not returned in several months. Yorkie are high maintenance. Bathing. Teeth. Knees. Trachea....but they are so special. The vet bills are killing us. Can we buy insurance? |

Yes, you can get insurance...that's a topic we discuss a LOT here at YT. I have it on my kiddos - I have Healthy Paws Insurance. There are some insurance threads / topics in the Health Library, btw. |

OMG I would freak out if this ever happened to Cody, since first reading of such a thing happening to male dogs I keep on eye on Cody. He is my first boy, I wouldn't know how to handle this even with all the reading I have done on it, I would be out the door and to the vet, I would be so scared of doing more damage then good. |
