Help! I thinks Chloe is sick!!! :( :(
 
There's something wrong with my baby Chloe. She keeps coughing over and over again like she wants to puke but either nothing comes out or a little white foam comes out. Her body is also a little on the wamer side and she's shivering a bit. She's making this weird whining/wheezing sound. Also she's not being very playful!

She's almost 6 months, just starting to lose her baby teeth. The past two days have been very cold here (Collingwood, Ontario) and I had her at the dark park yesterday!

sounds like kennel cough. Does the coughing sound like a goose honking? Better get her to the ver.

I have no advice about what it could be, but I would have her at the vets. If it is kennel cough it needs to be treated before it turns to phneumonia. I will pray that Chloe is ok and to get well soon.

Oh my goodness this sweet baby needs to see a Vet.
I hope she will OK soon.

Please take Chloe to a vet asap. Buster had kennel cough and it became pneumonia and he had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. Things can go from bad to worse very quickly so when in doubt always take them to a vet. Better safe than sorry. I hope she is ok and back to her playful self soon! Best wishes.

No it doesn't sound like a goose at all, it sounds more like a cat that has a hair ball. And also it doesn't happen very often, just when she starts rubbing around or playing with her toys. I think she might have a cold because her eyes are extra runny and her nose is pretty wet.

Hopefully you were able to get her to the vet today and find out what is making her sick. Please let us know how she is.

Kennel cough can quickly turn into pneumonia without a vet's care. I hope she is at a vet hospital now.

Gizmo had two bouts of kennel cough, and it indeed sounded like a hair ball getting hacked up. In fact, I think that's how I described it at the ER vet. It took two rounds of antibiotic to clear it, and can be very very very contagious to other dogs. So please, get Chloe to a vet ASAP so if it is kennel cough, she can start to get treated. Like the other posters said, things can quickly go down hill if not taken care of.
