Winnie's Sick I posted a couple days about regarding Winnie and being lethargic. I took her into the vet and the vet wasn't much help. Said since she wasn't vomiting or had no signs of runny stool that she didn't see anything wrong with her. Winnie is still sneezing up a storm, reverse sneezing a lot and constantly swallowing. I'm not sure what is going on but I leave on vacation for 5 days next week and won't see her for 7 days. I'm worried about leaving her. I noticed tonight that her right eye is very puffy. When she's constantly swallowing it makes me think as us humans do and swallow when we have snot running down the back of the throat. I looked online and I get worried that it could be something really bad. I give her benadryl once every 12 hours and it's not helping. Right now she's walking around all sad and confused. I better go see the vet again but would appreciate any feedback? Collapsed trechia? Nasal cancer? I don't know what to go off of!! |
I would get her back to the vet. It sounds like she may be allergic to something even her food. I would not leave for vacation till I knew she was better. They should be able to run test to figure out what is going on. I would insist. Good luck |
The benadryl could be causing her to seem confused. May be sleepy from that. Hope she gets better soon. I think I would get another opinion from another vet before I left for vacation. Maybe even board her at their clinic. |
She may have something stuck in her nasal passage. I would definitely get her into the vet! Good luck and keep us posted! |
I would go back to the vet too. All I can add is that when Cooper was swallowing constantly he had a very bad throat infection and a very high fever. He needed antibiotics to get better. |
Ive been up all night w her. She will not sleep. Shes gone potty twice and she cant seem to get comfortable. Im lost and shes confused. Her nose is dry and shes drinking water. |
I'm so sorry Winnie is sick. My only advice would be to bring her back to the vet asap. I hope they figure it out this time - poor pup :( |
