Kaji might have a cold All last night I heard Kaji "snore" and "snort." I thought nothing of it since he is a noisy sleeper. He won't bark when awake, but he sure does sleep bark! :rolleyes: Anyway, in the morning he was awake, but the snorting continued. The snorting wasn't constant, but I worry. I called the vet, and they said it sounds like my little man might have a cold. We have an appointment for 7 tonight. I later found out my little man skipped dinner, and he didn't have his breakfast until late. He usually has breakfast at 7 am, and dinner at 7 pm. He didn't eat dinner and didn't have breakfast until 10:30. Wish I knew that before I called the vet! So now Kaji and I sit in class. I brought him with me because school and the vet are more than 40 miles apart. Home is out of the way, and we would never make it to the appointment on time. I can feel his breathing becoming slightly labored. I'm so sad! I can't do anything for him, and out appointment is still 4 hours away. :( I can\'t even focus on what\'s going on in class. |
Poor Kaji! Sending prayers and positive vibes for a quick resolution of whatever is ailing your sweet little guy. I\'ll be looking for your update of what the vet says. Hang in there! |
At least the professor is ok with Kaji being in class. He didn\'t notice until a few minutes ago and class is almost over. The professor pointed out I had a dog in class, and now my classmates can\'t stop starring! I keep hearing, "She\'s so cute." :p |
Poor Kaji. What a great Mom you are, bringing him to class. I\'ll be waiting for an update too. I\'m sure the vet will make him feel better quickly. |

Driving to the vet is going to be a nightmare! Class ends at 4, I have to take one of the most notoriously congested freeways to the vets, during rush hour traffic! I\'m driving myself nuts. Kaji is extra warm. I\'m wondering if it\'s because he\'s on my lap next to my laptop. We\'ll be at the vet soon enough. |
He is probably warm from being on your lap. Hopefully he does not have a fever. I\'m so glad you are getting him in to the vet tonight. |

I hope Kaji will be ok. I remember Muffin had a cold once. She got over it ok. They\'re so pitiful when they\'re sick. I always had to be sure she was covered up all night and didn\'t get out of the covers. She would get tonsillitis, too. |
