Sick free yorkie on craigslist ?? YORKIE FOR FREE i just emailed the lady to see what is wrong with him ! this is killing me ! i want to take him but i just cant . i have my little man plus my families dog . my mom would kill me ! i dont even know if this is legit but if it is i hope someone can help ! i figured id post this here just in case someone is around here & could help ! aghh my heart is breaking for the poor little pup :( |

she didnt say . we have the SPCA around here & i told her about that but she hasnt replied yet ! this is just killing me . im asking everyone i know . i even asked my boyfriend is he could live at his house since Chumlee is living at mine with my family & i . he said no because he works too much & his mom wont want to watch him . i told her im even willing to send money to the vet that she is going to be using to help him out ! im not sure if its a scam yet but i dont want to give the money to her . id rather take it to the vet & see the dog in person & know he is being helped if i cant find anyone to take him . hes 7 months old & 2lbs only ! thats as big as my 4 month old is ! OMG i dont know what to do . i want to call my mom & tel her im going to be bringing another dog home but she wasnt to happy about me getting Chumlee but now shes head over heals in love with her "grandson" if you know of anyone willing to drive to take this dog please let me know . He is in the Poconos , near the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area in Pennsylvania |
How sad. :( The problem with Craigslist is that it could be a scam. Be careful about sending money to her. Can you call the SPCA and have them check into it? |
i definately could . if i dont hear from her by 1 . its 11:50 now . im going to call the SPCA & give them information |
& thats why i would never send money to her . i asked what vet she used ( if she used any ) & i was going to call, see if they had record of her & the dog & told her i was going to meet her at the vet the day & time of the appointment & i would give the money right to the vets office & wait until i knew what was wrong with him . i doubt the little guy has ever seen a vet . i asked a list of questions but i dont think she will reply |
Would your Mom let you keep him for a week or two? Just time to get him to a vet and eating again. Too many moves is too much stress when they're not well. In the meantime I'll twist my DH's arm. |

i doubt she would . my families dog HATES other dogs but she doesnt mind my baby . only dog she has ever liked . she would probably kill the sick little guy. shes a dachshund & shes a hunter ;/ & plus i dont want to have him at my house & then get rid of him again. but i know if my mom did say yes to keeping him for a week or 2 shed wanna keep him . shes not home now tho ;/ shes at a business meeting until tomorrow so when she calls me tonight before she goes to bed im probably going to ask her . id ask my dad but he doesnt make decisions like that without my mom |

Can you get him and take him to a vet? My DH will call me back in an hour to let me know if he's okay with us taking him. If he says yes, we could pick him up from the vet in a day or two, if he's healthy, just ask the vet to board him till we get there. But I'll have to let you know for sure... |
A tiny 7 month old who is not eating may have liver shunt or another serious illness...be prepared to pay a great deal of money to the vet for care...I would contact Yorkie Rescue. |
There is another member on here that just got a Yorkie from Craiglist, the puppy was in pretty bad shape, had no records, not registered. I can't imagine this person can't get the puppy to eat. Hopefully someone can rescue the dog before it gets worse. Keep us updated, is there a picture that you can post? |
she is not emailing me back which makes me believe its not real. i dont know if shes just trying to get people to give money or what but i havent had a reply |
