What about any fruit and veggies. Do you give your pups any of that? I heard some giving green beans and pineapple. Is that bad for sensitive tummies? |

We were on Bil Jac, then put on SD I/D, then I went to Instinct because she was doing better. Now back on SD I/D. |

Thank you. She is laying in her momma's lap. Not very active at all today. Did eat the can food and drank a little water. But just wants me to hold her. |
Sorry to hear Rosie is not feeling well. I hope she is better soon. |

Pretty bad when you walk in and they say "Hey Rhonda! How is Rosie today!" Lol. I love the ladies in my vet office! :):) |
Is she bloated or gassy? How old is she? What is the protein content of her regular food? Fruits and vegies can be hard to digest, you may want to hold off on them until she feels better. ADBoots: Did you give Cooper plain Cheerios, or the Multi-grain type? I've heard of dogs having problems with the Multi-grain Cheerios... |
Oh no :( sending her my prayers |

Her only symptom was her tummy making noises. Lol gurgling I guess? She will be four in July. This is the food she was on: Instinct: Chicken Meal Formula: Grain-Free Kibble for Dogs | Nature's Variety |

Do you put these in the icebox when they are done or only make what you need? |

Wow! Nice food... it already has probiotics in it, not to mention fruits and veggies! I do have a problem with the meat/fish meals, and for a 4 year old dog the protein and fat contents hit me as kind of high. (42% protein, 22% fat ) Mine are all approaching 4, except Peek a Boo who is way beyond 4. I try to keep the protein around 20-25%, and the fat around 15%. I find mine go off their feed quite often on higher protein foods, and as they're older, I don't believe they need all that protein... unless they're a working dog... You may want to discuss it with your vet, if you haven't already. |

Thanks! She finally drank some more water. Had to put a little sugar in it but it worked. And she noticed another squirrel when we went outside. Luckily I was holding her. But you could see her watching its every move! Makes me think she is feeling a little better. Her tummy has stopped making noises now as well. |
Just wanted to say I'm sorry Rosie isn't feeling well. Princess & I send hugs & well wishes. :getwellso |

hoping that rosie continues to improve! sending well wishes and hugs! |
I am just seeing this. Sorry Rosie wasn't feeling well but I am glad she is doing better. :) Those pesky squirrels, lol. ;) |
Thanks everyone! Rosie is still a little under the weather. However, she did eat both the dry and can food tonight. She also started drinking water without sugar. And went pee outside!! I think she is feeling better. I so appreciate the support and well wishes we get here. :) Thanks for making me feel better about switching the food as well. :) You guys are great!! LJ, I am going to try making the treats tomorrow. I think only homemade treats or cheerios from now on. Now that I have been educated about other treats! I had no clue they were high in protein and fat. Now I do! I give another update when she is back to her ole self!! |
I'm glad she's eating...that's definitely a good sign...hope she gets completely better soon! |
Awe Poor Rosie girl! I am just seeing this, I hope she feels better soon! It is so hard when they are not feeling well! ((hugs)) |
