Is Teddy alright? I am new in this forum. I got my Yorkie puppy last Friday and already I love her so much. I would love to have your opinion on this. He sneezed and vomited a bit in a car yesterday. But after a while was up and running and eating again. And it doesn't look like he is having a running nose anymore. He ate a lot after that and kind of vomited a bit, but I would guess it was because he ate TOO much and played too much. Normally if he were a bit older, I guess I wouldn't worry so much, but he's only two months old, so I am being extra careful here. Please let me know if this sounds okay to you? |
He may have gotten car sick. Have you taken him for a check up yet ? if not I think that should be your next step. I hope it's nothing serious. Welcome to YT:) |
Kinda sounds like he got car sick to me too. I know when Kayla was little if she rode in a carrier, she threw up everytime. When we take her to the vet now I don't use one and she hasn't thrown up since. Just a thought. If he is eating and drinking I would not worry too much and taking him riding next time might tell the tale. Good luck with your new baby. |

I agree that a wellness check is in order. I agree that any new puppy should see a Vet within the first three days of bringing him home. Please keep us posted. |
I posted in your other thread, but forgot to say...WELCOME :) |
I would definitely take him to the vet, he is very young. |
Thank you everyone for your advices and welcome. Sorry for confusion, I think I didn't make myself clear, I meant in my previous post that I hadn't taken him for a check after the sneeze and vomit incident, but he had been vaccinated (still waiting for the second shot) and checked by a Vet already. I am now almost 100% certain it was car sickness too. Yesterday he was all active and running around playing, but as soon as he saw the car, he started moaning and whining. We opened the window and brought him up so he could look around and it seems to comfort him a bit. He was less scared already. |
