i do appreciate the support of everyone here, im so glad i join this forum! |
You should call the breeder immediately; it's not fun for the pup either. The vet should have given him medication to calm his stomach; but perhaps he's too young. I am seriously worried about your pup; he is too young and too small and bad things can happen very quickly. If you don't know what to do; call the Vet office ASAP. The breeder should also be able to help you; but it sounds like you need help right away. You didn't answer if the Vet's office gave him fluids but I certainly hope they did. What exactly did the Vet tell you besides tests came out negative?? |

If this puppy is this sick and you don't get vet care for him soon, he is going to die. :( I don't know where you purchased him, but I am sure that is not a great option for him either. If you don't wish to deal with issues like this, would you consider turning him over to a rescue? Puppies are a lot of work...and often they can get sick, as can adult dogs. If you are not prepared for such things, better to just let this poor thing go to someone who can. Not trying to be harsh....just want you to realize he can DIE. This is not fun for him either, I am quite sure. :( |

This could get very expensive for you. I don't know how much you paid for him, but I would be asking for my money back It is so heartbreaking when new owners come on here with stories of sick puppies. You definitely need to call the vet ASAP. Are you giving him any nutrical? Is he drinking? does he keep anything at all down? is he peeing and pooping? So sorry that you are going through this. |
hi hin yes i must agree with the girls here the sooner he sees a vet the better.these tiny mites go downhill fast especially when theyre so young and he`s probably missing his mum so pamper him plenty.and we would ALL like to know hos the little chap checks out at the vet please. |
Your last post indicated that your puppy is still vomiting. Are you keeping in touch with the vet? Any amount of stress on a new puppy can cause illness, like this one. Glad that he does not have a serious illness, however, he is continueing to go downhill. I hope you also called the breeder , or wherever you got him. He is just 8 weeks old and really is way too young to have left his mother and littermates. Perhaps he needs to go back home. otherwise you run the risk of losing your new pup. If I were you I would try to get this puppy back to the breeder. This is very scary . I am concerned for this little puppy. :( |
Guys, i just bought nutrical today, and i have been pampering him alot.. I did noticed that when he is by himself he walks around the room, i also noticed if i put some classical music he becomes happier.. i have been feeding him every two hours like the vet said... i did talk to the vet but he said to continue doing what i have been doing.. i also took him to another vet got the same answer...HMMM i CAN do THIS.... I WANT TO SEE HIM GROW!!!!:)..i want to be his mommy... but i just get so scare....O JEAH i DID noticed that at 3 am he wakes up and gets close to a mirror and begins to bark... i dont know guys he seems happier at night time!!!! ..YOSHI is drinking water, he is peeing and pooping! |
I am very glad he is feeling better. Did the vet give him IV or subQ fluids? Specfically, what tests did they do. What was the diagnosis? We are all rooting for your little one but need a bit more specifics in order to help you. |
he got a blood glucose test, fecal flotation, parvovirus test...everything was negative... he they gave him some fluid for the dehydration, and that was it.. VET told me to try different foods such as baby food with meat. so that he can choose what he likes, so far nothing. But i keep feeding him every two hours.. right now is 1020 pm and he is walking around sniffing things peeing often... |
BTW he is not puking no more, he did 3 times today, but puked was not food was just saliva...he is keeping the food down |
do they sale puppy milk!!!???? |
hi :) hi bab me again. try to calm down, relax, stop the worrying and enjoy your HEALTHY little pup. the vet has carried out all the important tests, so i believe i was right in saying he was a little homesick for his mum and playmates and will settle and look to you given time. have you tried him on a little boiled chicken breast and brown rice-cut up tiny of course! this is always a failsafe for "dicky tummies"-give yourself and him a break and coook him that and you`ll see-he`ll gobble it up!!was very glad to hear you had been so thorough in taking him to not one but two vets-so now RELAX AND ENJOY!!!!!!!!!:animal-pa |
How are things going today? I hope he is feeling much better. |

I am very happy that your pup is feeling better. I agree that changing foods is not going to help his tummy . Sounds like he is coming out of this illness, so continue what you are doing. It is cute when they see themselves in the mirror and start barking at their own reflection. I remember when my Suzi did that, LOL. I am glad your little puppy does not have any serious illness. It could be the changes and going into a new home. |
Hello every one First of all i want to thank all of you who helped me through this hard situation. Luckily my new puppy has adapted to his new home and is acting HAPPEYYYYY!!!.. im sooo happy guys this is the best feeling ever! |
