Help My Yorkie just ate 80% of a wooden spoon. Anyone ever hear of that happening? Do they pass it or should I panic?? |
I would call the closest ER vet. I would be very worried about splinters puncturing the intestines or blockage. They can xray him to be safe. |
A wooden spoon can splinter into pieces that could damage her organs or even pierce them. I would be taking her to the vet ASAP. this is nothing to mess around with. Did she eat the wood or ust chew it off? No matter what she needs to be seen by a vet right away. not trying to scare you but she could bleed internally from the wood pieces . take her now. |
I second that!! |
vet vet vet... good luck and keep us updated |
Don't panic, but definitely go get him seen tonight. My friend's cocker ate part of a door (long story...) and it swelled in her stomach. She needed emergency surgery to remove the blockage. |
Vet ASAP!!! Please keep us updated. Praying for you and your little one. |
I agree with everyone's posts. Please please come back and update us. |
Same here. Wood definatly isn't going to pass on it's own without a problem, especially that much. |
