Squeaky stomach?! I've never heard Chip do this before, but his stomach is actually squeaking. It sounds like a guinea pig or a mouse squeaking. I'm assuming his stomach is just upset, but it's just weird. He's acting completely normal and is still eating, so I don't think it's anything serious, but I'm still a bit concerned. Has anyone experienced this? |
I never heard of this but I hope Chip is OK!!:) |
Do you hear this when your dog is sleeping or lying down, stretching, or up and walking around? |
It was when he was in any position. I read somewhere that it could be a stomach acid and to give the dog a couple crackers (like low sodium saltines), so I did and he's fine now. I know he wasn't feeling well - he went and slept under the bed for awhile, which he does not do unless he's being mischievous or if he's not feeling well. He's okay right now. He's sleeping on the bed and he's not squeaking any more. |
Okay. Just wanted to be sure you might not be talking about the sounds they make when asleep, dreaming, etc., as Tibbe squeaks then but from his larynx. My Tibbe's tummy does this sometimes when he's overeaten or a bit constipated and I thought it just the sounds of digestion as the gas, liquids and solids are pushed along with a couple intestinal, momentary kinks maybe along the way. Sounds like you got it treated and he's squeaky no more. |

Worries me to death when Tibbe does something different! I know exactly where you are coming from as one Yorkie owner to another. :) |
