Maxi is in the hospital ... need prayers please! I has to travel for a work-related conference last week and left Maxi with my parents (who live downstairs in our 3 family house). When I got back Sunday afternoon, my mom said that he was having dieahrea since friday but he was eating normal. Well, by the time I got home he was happy to see me and active but then quickly lost his energy and slept the whole day but did eat dinner (dieahrea continued). Monday morning he didnt eat breakfast or dinner and also vomited 4 times that day (whitish-yellow color) but his poop was solid again. I took him to the vet, and they think he either just ate something he shouldnt have or he has like a stomach virus. They injected him with some IV/water in his back and an anti-vomiting medicine but as soon as he came home, he had dieahrea. I thought it was because he was so stressed from the doc visit, the injection of IV was not fun and he hated it. Well this morning, I get up and he has vomit all over his pen and bed. I take him out and he is running around like normal but then tries to dry heave and nothing comes out. Then about 30 mins after I take him out of bed, twice he vomited blood. I freaked out and took him back to the vet and they checked him into the hospital . He has an IV attached to his leg and they are giving him antibiotic shots. They were running tests and xrays but I havent heard anything back yet. Sorry this is so long. I dont know what to do. I have been crying since the vet this morning. Have any of you since this before? |
I am so sorry to hear your little Maxi is sick. My thoughts and prayers are for your baby. I hope everything turns out ok and maybe he did eat something. I am sure he is in good hands now and hopefully they will let you know what he has. Take care of. Susan |

I am so sorry about your baby. The only time that we have seen blood in Kayla's stools is when we changed her food. She has a really sensitive stomach too that doesn't help. Maybe your baby eat something that just has totaly messed up his little system. Hope he gets better soon. I know how it hurts to see them so sick. |
