Sneezing and more sneezing. :( Peanut is sneezing non stop, at-least once or twice a minute, there is alot of polen from tree's and such, and whenever he goes sniffing i think he might be allergic to it or something? should i take him to see a doctor? or try and avoid those trees and see if that helps? besides the sneezing, he seems perfectly happy, and even plays with me still, doesn't seem like hes lacking energy at all, and he's eating and going to potty perfectly fine. His stool looks the same as always, so nothing accept his sneezing. His nose is kinda warm too though, but i don't really remember what temperature his nose was before his sneezing. He's 7 1/2 mo's, he just got neutered, he's on antibiotic from that, etc. also, i just started doing the penut butter in the kong thing, are can a dog be allergic to penut butter? I dont think it the kennel cough or whatever i've seen on here, he has been a single dog for a while. |
Could be he has allergies. Maybe your vet can prescribe some relief for him. |

Yes dogs can have allergies to nuts just like people. I would take him to see your vet to 1st rule out that he has sniffed something up his little nose & 2nd to see if it's allergy or kennel cough & get the proper meds for whatever is causing his sneezing. |
I have a cat that's been sneezing non stop for a few months now. I have an appointment with the vet on Saturday for her and my other cat Olivia who has been diagnosed with Asthma a few years ago. It usually acts up at this time of year. So far no dog allergies. |
My first thought would be that something is stuck in there. Sneezing a few times an hour would make me think it could wait til tomorrow. Sneezing a couple times a minute has to be extremely unhealthy and I'd almost want to call it an emergency. |
Ian started sneezing yesterday, but only 2-3 times a day. The pollen count is pretty high here, so I think it might be that. I plan to call his vet to see if I should bring him in. Any update on Peanut? |
