Vomiting & Stomach Noises
 
My baby girl started throwing up Sunday night after eating MAYBE 5 bites of a different food. She didnt like it so she wouldnt eat it. My husband & I were up at like 2am chaning our bed clothes. She threw up like 10 to 15 times it looked like. It was all over a blanket, the sheets, pillow cases, & comforter. While we were changing them she threw up again in the floor. Yesterday (Monday) she eat her normal food & threw it up. Woke up around 1am this morning and she was trying to throw up again. Last night her nose was warm and she wouldn't eat, not even our human food (which is very unusual). We were watching tv last night and her tummy was making very weird loud noises. We heard them over the tv. My husband said she did have like 2 bm's yesterday and pee'd, but I'm really concerned and worried. Any ideas or suggestions of what it may be?

Hello. I certainly am not vet, but it sounds like perhaps something she ate is causing this, similar to how we can get food poisoning. Maybe it has something to do with her change of food that day, but since she didn't eat much of it I am thinking that is just coincidence and she probably got a hold of something else.

I would take her to the vet today if you can. Its already been over a full 24 hours and doesn't seem to be getting much better yet.

After the 10-15 vomit spots, she was in extreme danger of dehydration. Now I can't think of a word more than extreme, but that's the danger she is in. Dehydration leads to electrolyte imbalance which can lead to cardiac arrest. There is no way in this case that she could be holding down enough fluid (and that probably shouldn't even be given). This is an emergency. She needs to see a vet right now. She will likely be placed on fluids and anti-emetics. It sounds an awful lot like pancreatitis (and hopefully not a blockage).

Please get her to the vet immediately.

Exactly! Her situation could be life threatening at this point, especially if she is small.

Oh my goodness....your baby needs to be seen immediately! These pups can do down quickly.
Please take her to your vet and keep us posted!
