paw My little ten year old has been limping off on and on for several weeks now. It seems to be worse after he has been laying around or after we go for a long walk. He never whines even when I massage his legs, hips, paws etc. He still runs and jumps without ever whining. At first I thought it might be the beginning of artheritis, but I would think he would cry out in pain and would not run and jump so much? I have noticed that the limp seems to be somehow connected to his right front paw. He licks and chews at this paw quite a bit and sometimes holds it up while he is walking. Any ideas as to what this might be? I have looked at his paw and cannot see anything. Everytime I decide to take him to the vet he gets better adn the limp goes away. I have had other dog lovers over to visit and they seem to think I am overreacting (which is very possible) because he runs and jumps so much. Please offer you opinions. |
