Hi Cathy, Just wanted to send our thoughts and prayers....just reading this and my heart is breaking for you. Please keep us posted and please try not to beat yourself up over this. I know that is easier said then done....we are all here with you and hope that helps some...always in our prayers hugs to you and your little one! |
Oh my! You have my apologies... I really did misread this thread! Not to worry though, no harm done nor intended. Keeping Barney and you in my prayers... |
I just read about Barneey's illeness. I am praying it isn't lepto. |
Hope Barney's results are back soon. I was just catching up on this long thread, and feel that I need to reconsider Lepto vac for my doggies. Seeing that rats and mice can carry it, and I know they are outside in my yard, I guess my dogs aren't safe even in their sheltered life of my house and yard. They are all due for annual checkup soon, so will discuss with vet current risks in our area. |
Hoping everything goes well for Barney keeping you both in my thoughts & prayers |
Cathy, we're thinking of you even if you don't see us post. I've been really busy with house hunting & all but Lisa mentioned the troubles you're facing & wanted to give you our moral support as well. Hug that clan of yours for us pretty please! |
Still thinking about you and Barney. Keeping him in my prayers. |
Cathy, you and Barney are in my thoughts. Hoping you get the test results back soon and it is good news. |
Cathy, you and Barney are in my thoughts and Prayers. I found this info but it's kinda old about Lepto. Canine Leptospirosis, Figure 2 | CDC EID |

Checking in on Barney. Hoping and praying for the good test results. I love that picture of Barney in his bed (Avatar). So cute. |

That picture is Teddy :) He lives in that cloud 9 bed...It's his transport vehicle. Barney is doing ok. He was acting a little funny on two occasions this weekend where he did not want to get off his little bed and when we went over to him, he had his ears down and his tail tucked. He also did not get up to go to the door with the others when my husband's car pulled into the driveway. I was not able to identify whether he was in pain. He ate, drank, played, and beat up Teddy and barked at squirrels outside, so I assume he was ok. I was wondering if starting the Denosyl did not agree with him. I did not give it to him this morning so I can observe him when I get home to see if he still does this. He is not hunched and not reactive to any poking or prodding but I am not sure if his knee is bother him as he seemed to show greater interest when I touched his knee (yes, I conducted my own incompetent examination of him). He was happy and wagging his tail, but I am very in tune with Barney, and something is not quite right. I'm going to give him the Denoysl an hour before dinner and then see how he is later. I am goign to ask them to run a lyme test in the off chance the knee bothering him might be lyme unless they think it is not warranted. |
[QUOTE=107barney;3445682]That picture is Teddy :) He lives in that cloud 9 bed...It's his transport vehicle. QUOTE] I am such a clux I knew that. I remember when you first posted a picture of Teddy in his cloud nine bed, He was wrapped around it like a taco. I ordered one just like that one. Jack and Josie fought so bad over till I ordered another one. Now they both have one and love it. |
Hi Cathy...just checking in to see if you have heard any news on the results for Barney yet. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. |
Any word on Barney, I'm hoping for good news. |
