Chewy keeps throwing up everything he eats.. My 11 Month baby keeps throwing up everytime he eats or drink water.. he is popping 1 time a day but is Throwing stinking gasses.. He is playing normally and every thing but he keeps throwing up everything he eats.. I can reach a vet this week is there anything i can do for my baby at home is it true i can give him peptodismal or pedialite??:( Thanks |
If he has been throwing up everything for more than maybe 1/2 day, he needs to see a vet immediately. Nothing should be tried at home. He may be getting or already is dehydrated. Very serious situation if he hasn't been able to hold water down for days! |

I agree that he needs to be seen by a vet or emergency clinic. |
I would find an emergency vet myself. I had my two at vet 2-weeks ago from eating too many treats (chicken strip treats) that I didn't know someone else had given them. Took two days of IV fluids for my female and I thought I was going to loose my male he ended being at a emergency hospital for 2 more days. I say take to an emergency vet if yours is not available. Most vets have an emergency vet if they are going to be on vacation. |
Hi, hope that by now your furkid is getting better :) Our Kenzie had the same sympthoms almost a week ago. She kept vomiting everything she ate and drank, it started on tuesday night and kept going for the next 24 hrs. By the 3rd time she threw up we took her to the vet. He told us she had a bit of a fever, its a tummy bug, so he gave her an antibiotic shot, he also gave her a med to protect her tummy and he said it'll start working in the next 30 mins, and thank God, it did. Kenzie had to drink Pedialyte for the next 12hrs, no food cause she couldnt hold it in. By 8am, next day, Kenzie was like 60% back to her usual mischievous self. The vet told us he gave her the AB shot cause there's no time to waste in these cases, cause these little ones dehydrate super fast. IMHO, I suggest you to take your little one to the vet ASAP, just to be sure its not a serious thing, you never know with these bugs floating around. :) |
