Jackie, I was afraid Opal wouldn't live as long as she has, especially after the episode in August. So you never know, since Abby has beaten the prediction so far, maybe she will beat it again. I hope so.

Please keep us updated. I'm so sorry the doctor wasn't more optimistic,

I'm sorry that Abby isn't doing better, but don't give up hope. Each moment that you have with her is precious, and Abby is always able to feel your love to comfort her. I am praying that Abby is able to breathe more freely and that she can heal so that you can have more quality time together.

I just can't believe the difference in Abby. She was put on a new medicine vetmedin and look at her now! She's the white and black dog

She's running and playing and waggin that tail! That's so great to see. I hope this continues for her. :)

Wow, Abby looks like she feels great! I didn't expect to see her frolicking like she is in the video and feeling so playful. It's wonderful! She sure is cute. I hope she holds out a long, long time.

I can't tell you how happy it made me feel to see Abby playing and wagging her tail. She is beautiful, and so are your other babies. I hope these happy moments last a long time and that Abby continues to feel good. She is a doll, and your post and video really made my day. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I have just read this thread. Saw the video, and I'm so glad to see she is obviously doing well.
My heart goes out to you, it is so painful at times to have a pup with serious health issues. May you make many joyous memories with your pup.

I just saw the video!! How wonderful that Abby is doing so well on the new medicine! I am SO happy for you! That video is darling! They surely were having a grand time in that COLD white nasty stuff....:D

It is so wonderful she's doing well... My cousin's ancient dog was on Vetmedin for a few years and also saw amazing results... I'll keep Abby in my prayers...

I wouldn't want to give you false hope....although she may do well with medication and if you can exercise her when she bounces back some, it can improve her condition considerably.
